Aileen Mootoo

            This paper describes introductory classes in French taught to college students that are “90 per cent internet.” Course work is done on-line, but students come to the university to take midterm and final exams. The presentation describes advantages and disadvantages in offering a language course on-line, and how she works to overcome the disadvantages.
